How does it work?
The Aquata offers hourly boat rentals in San Diego for up to 11 guests. Upon booking, you will have the ability to choose your very own Captain! All of our Captains are Coast Guard Certified with over 5+ years of Captaining experience. First, you’ll need to choose the date for your charter. Weekends fill up fast, so make sure to book at least 3 weeks in advance! Second, you’ll need to choose your time and the amount of hours that you’d like. We have a 3-hour minimum which allows you to fully experience the Aquata and the scenery of Mission Bay or San Diego Bay. After you book, you and your guests will fill out liability waivers, these are required for boarding. Once your reservation date comes, you will meet us at 1441 Quivira Rd. San Diego, CA 92109 at Commerical A Dock! During your charter, our Captain will give you some recommendations of the most prominent and beautiful scenery in Mission Bay and San Diego Bay and cater to your requests of keeping it chill, or making it thrill!

How big is Aquata and what’s the interior like?
The Aquata is a 2022 37ft Axopar Cross-Cabin Cruiser. The innovative Gullwing Door concept that opens up the front cabin, the sociable foredeck seating with table* or with the large sun-deck*, in addition to its versatile aft-deck modules ensures our customers get a boat with the equipment they want. The large sliding canvas roof, together with the two large sliding doors, really opens up the cabin to the elements on days when the weather allows.Â
where does the Boat rental go?
The Aquata can venture to Mission Bay and San Diego Bay! Choose to speed through San Diego Bay, or Calmly Cruise through Mission Bay. Want more of a thrill? The Aquata is happy to splash through the ocean!Â
How long should we rent the boat for?
Aquata has a minimum rental time of 3 hours. We recommend renting for 3-4 hours.
where are you located?
Aquata Charters is located at 1441 Quivira Rd. San Diego, CA 92109. The Yacht is located on “A” Dock which is the Commercial Dock located at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email with parking and walking details.
what is your cancelation policy?
Aquata requires all cancellations to be made 14 days prior to the scheduled departure time to receive a full refund. Cancellation within 14 days of the charter will forfeit their deposit. Any cancellations made within 72 hours before the charter will forfeit the full amount of the contracted services and are non-refundable.

What will we see during the charter?
During your private yacht rental, expect to see an array of wildlife and gorgeous scenery. Often we will see Dolphins, Gray Whales, Blue Whales, Birds, Sea Lions, Flying Fish and more!Â
What do we need to bring?
Aquata Charters allows you to bring your own food and drinks (this includes alcohol). Be sure to bring food that is easily accessible and easy to clean up! Please do not bring any red wine aboard, or glass cups. All liquids contained in glass will be put into plastic cups. Feel free to bring towels, sunscreen, and a big smile!

The Aquata does NOT include a Captain. You must choose your Captain during the booking process. The Captain’s fee is paid directly to the Captain upon arrival.
